Talking about loss, pain, and grief is a struggle. Art Therapy offers a spontaneous and compassionate way to address that struggle in a safe and healing environment.
Mika McLane has thirteen years of experience as a nationally licensed, registered Creative Art Therapist, and as a certified specialist in child development. She received her master’s degree in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute and has worked with children and their families in the New York City public school system, at a pediatric hospital, and with hospice.
Her private practice, based in Lewisboro, New York, includes the facilitation of women’s circles that focus on self-care and identity after motherhood, individual therapy for womxn and teens, as well as in-home therapy for clients with limitations due to medical illness.
