Art therapy is a tool in assessing and treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship issues and emotional stressors that stem from physical illness, trauma and loss. The creative process of art making is often a catalyst for healing by breaking through verbal resistance and gaining deeper insights into unspoken aspects of oneself. Art Therapy supports self discovery, self healing and self love. It is not necessary to be artistically inclined to benefit from art therapy.
