Virtual Moms Night Out Art Circle 4/28
Time & Location
About The Event
A VIRTUAL circle will be held through Zoom since we are unable to meet in person at this time.
There is such importance for us to continue to feel connected with those around us in a safe, secure way. This an unprecedented time but it does not mean that we cannot still continue to support one another, express our concerns and feel heard.
The struggle to balance self-care and motherhood is REAL.
Mom’s Night Out Art Circles give mothers the opportunity to nurture their creative selves with other women to foster personal growth and self-expression through guided art-making. Absolutely no previous art experience is necessary to enjoy the benefits of this circle.
Mika is an art therapist and psychotherapist in private practice. She is the mother of two children who recognizes that maintaining her individual identity apart from being a mother is challenging, and taking time for herself is even harder. The Moms Night Out Art Circles give mothers the opportunity to focus on their own self-care and affords them the freedom to foster their personal identity in a fun, supportive environment which in turn, manifests benefits in all aspects of their lives.
She has a graduate degree from Pratt Institute, is a licensed Art Therapist and a certified specialist in child development. She has worked with children, young adults and their families for over 13 years in pediatric hospitals, hospice, and the New York City public school system.
Currently in private practice, specializing in loss and she facilitates women’s circles that focus on self-care and identity after motherhood.
