Whether it is a caregiver to a parent or spouse, this art-based group is a space to share the complexities of the caregiver role and to have support, free from judgment with others who understand what being a caregiver means.

This is a closed group, meaning the same group of women will meet once a week in my safe, nurturing, and supportive space in Cross River’s Yellow Monkey Village. This circle series is for women who are a caregiver to a parent or spouse. Absolutely NO previous art experience is necessary to enjoy the benefits of this group.

Mika is a skilled clinician with sixteen years of experience, she holds a graduate degree from Pratt Institute and is a licensed Art Therapist. In her private practice, she works with women who have experienced loss, bereavement, acute or chronic illness, and loss of identity and sense of self on their journey through motherhood. 

This circle series runs Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am.

This group is limited to 6 participants.

If this is your first time attending a group I will schedule a 15-minute check-in before the series starts.
